Description
The objective of this project is to polish a sampling procedure that will ensure the evaluation of the red list status of various species of the Formica genera in Switzerland.

It aims:

• to gather, encode and to analyse all of the data available in Switzerland on these species
• to develop a protocol and a frame of sampling on the scale of Switzerland (prospective sampling and re-sampling)
• to evaluate the human and financial means necessary.

Data source
Even if much information is available today in Switzerland on the species concerned (F lugubris, F paralugubris, F polyctena, F pratensis Formica rufa, F truncorum and Formica uralensis), they were not seized or uploaded yet.
