Description
The goal of this project, which began in 2004, is to draw up a list of all the Hymenopteres species in Switzerland based on the model of the list published for the Dipteres (MERZ & Al.  1998). Seeming apparently simple, this project is in fact extremely ambitious.  It indeed aims at proving the presence of (at least) some 7000 species which the country hosts.  The presence in a collection of an individual captured in Switzerland or one or several individuals captured by a specialist in the group that are mentioned in a scientific article, is required.

Deadline
A first manuscript of this work is planned for 2006.  If this deadline is respected, a publication of the work in 2007 is possible.
