A to Z of the CSCF (2003, 40 pp.)
All that you always wanted to know about the CSCF
Natural environments of Switzerland. Vade-mecum (2000, 24 pp.)
Extensive list of the natural environments of Switzerland with their identifying code, their scientific and local names in French, German and Italian followed by a description of all the complementary subjects useful for the description and observation on the field (substrate, contacts, inclusions, anthropogenic influences...). All is completed by a concrete example of coding applied to a complex environnement.
List of species
In order to answer the many requests which we receive, we place at your disposal an Excel file of the Latin, German and French names of almost 2000 taxa amongst the most common in Switzerland.
Do not hesitate to download the systematic files proposed on this page. They contain the species recorded or potentially present in Switzerland or in its neighbouring areas. The following information is provided: order, family, genera, species, subspecies, author, local names (in several languages) and national red list status if they exist. The nomenclature used for the selected groups is based on reference works recognised and systematically used either on a national scale (for example Fauna Helvetica, Diptera Checklist, 1998), or on a European scale (for example Freude, Harde & Lohse for the Coleoptera; The Lepidoptera of Europe, 1996). The choice which has been made is obviously subjective, but it has the advantage of being clear.
