Simon Capt

Function: I look after the databank of mammals at the CSCF and I'm in charge of the coordination of mammal related projects managed by the CSCF; I am in charge of the relations with our collaborators in the field and with the cantonal and federal agencies of hunting and nature conservancy; I am particularly interested in management methods of the fauna and their application

Field: trained as a biologist, my diploma work researched how foxes accept baits for antirabic vaccination. For my thesis, I researched the use of space and habitats by foxes in a subalpine environment; I am now specialized in the ecology of carnivores, particularly canids and felids.

I am attainable: normally on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 8.30 am and 4.30 pm
