My function: I work for the
management of the invertebrate data bases as well as red list projects.
Furthermore I validate information within the data bases and look after the
relations with the collaborators. A part
of my time is related to the Z3
indicator of Bdm-CH in summer and to the inventory of collections from
various projects in progress.
My field: Qualified as a biologist, my interest concentrates
on the faunistic aspect and on the ecology of species. In entomology, my favourite groups being dragonflies,
orthopterians and rhopalocerians. More
recently, finding species of some families of wood coleopters, Buprestidae and
Cerambycidae are notably an important part of my activity. When the insects become rare, I turn over to
my first loves, ornithology and botany.
I am
attainable: in winter from Monday to
Thursday, in theory from 9h to 18h. In summer, the nicer the weather, the less chance
you have of reaching me at the office!

I can answer
you: in French in the best case, also in German or
English, I will do what I'm capable of, but there is no guarantee we'll
understand each other...
My public
life:
- member of the committee of the "Société des Sciences Naturelles du Pays
de Porrentruy" (SSNPP)
- secretary of the "Cercle d'études scientifiques" (CES) of the "Société
jurassienne d'Emulation"
- member of "Our
Birds"
I like: in first place field
biology, the terrace sessions during summer nights, sleeping under the stars,
the Mediterranean islands, Spaghetti Western movies, Agnes Jaoui movies with
Jean-Pierre Bacri, the civil service (it's a pity, it's finished for me),
cheese plates with a glass of red wine, concerning music my taste is rather
eclectic but I especially like pop-rock, trip-hop without forgetting electro
!
I hate: extremism in general and especially the
establishment of MacDonald in the railway stations of Neuchâtel.
